James Suliburk, MD

Dr. James Suliburk is a board certified and subspecialty fellowship trained surgeon. His clinical interests are in the field of endocrine treatment and surgery. Dr. Suliburk also performs acute care and trauma surgery at a major urban Level 1 trauma center. His work has been nationally recognized by the American College of Surgeons for outstanding research in the area of Quality, Safety, and Clinical Outcomes. His research interest currently focuses on leveraging mobile technology to improve surgical outcomes. He has received funding from the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation to support this effort. In addition he also investigates handoff practices to promote safe transitions of care during sign out of surgical patients.
